Preparation:

Ensure that the work area is clean and well-ventilated.

Wear appropriate protective gear, including gloves and eye protection.

Prepare the porcelain surface by cleaning it thoroughly to remove any debris, stains, or contaminants.

Application:

Dispense a small amount of the Gel onto a clean mixing pad or directly onto the porcelain surface using the provided applicator tip.

Apply a thin, even layer of the gel to the porcelain surface that needs to be etched.Ensure that the gel covers the entire area to be bonded. Avoid spreading the gel beyond the intended area.

Etching Time:

Allow the gel to remain on the porcelain surface for 60–90 seconds. Refer to the product’s specific instructions for the recommended etching time.

Do not exceed the recommended etching time to avoid over-etching or potential damage to the porcelain.

Rinsing:

Thoroughly rinse the etched surface with water to remove all traces of the gel.

Use a strong water stream or air-water syringe to ensure complete removal of the gel.

Drying:

Gently dry the porcelain surface with air or a clean, dry cloth.

Post-Etching:

Apply a silane coupling agent to the etched porcelain if recommended, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Proceed with the bonding process using the appropriate resin cement.

Cleanup:

Dispose of any used materials and clean the work area.

Store the remaining gel in a cool, dry place, following the manufacturer’s storage recommendations.
